Hearing God 22-Day Challenge

Day 1- Read Psalm 119:1-8


Set a timer for 5 minutes and listen. Don't stress. Just rest and listen. Take 5 minutes to journal what you got out of the Bible and anything God showed you. If God shows you something throughout the day, be sure to journal it. 

There you go! Day 1 is done. Great job! 


Day 2-Read Psalm 119:9-16


You're just getting started. Take it one day at a time! God is ready to speak to you. 

 


Day 3- Read Psalm 119:17-24


You've got this!! Remember if you haven't heard God that's okay, don't stress out. The key to hearing Him is being patient, just keep going and stay strong!!

 

 


Day 4-Read Psalm 119:25-32


Day 4 Let's go!!! What a good reminder that we can cry out to the Lord and He does listen! You guys have got this!! Make sure to go follow @goldengalkyla  on instagram!


Day 5- Read Psalm 119:33-40


Day 5, you're doing great!! Be encouarged by this short video, and remember to take joy in obeying God. Remember that God is going to reward you for going after Him!!! Be sure to follow @tywanturner on instagram!!


Day 6- Psalm 119:41-48


Living for God shouldn't be a chore, we follow God and His commands because we love Him and trust that He knows best for us! Day 7- Read Psalm 119:49-56


Always remember that God isn't done with you, and He will help you through any difficult situation you may face!! Make sure to go follow @jaaekash on instagram and listen to some of his music as well!


Day 8-Psalm 119:57-64


Reading God's word is part of how we learn to hear his voice! You guys are doing awesome diving into His word the last 8 days, lets keep that going! Make sure to follow @gabriellemontgomery_ on Instagram!


Day 9- Read Psalm 119:65-72


God's word is more valuable than silver and gold! You're doing amazing! If you haven't heard God say anything yet just stay focused and keep pressing on, God will be faithful. Such a great encouragement from @nathann4jesus make sure you go and follow him!!


Day 10-Psalm 119:73-80


Wow! We're already on day 10, can you believe it?! God made us and loves us; He knows whats best for us! This should encourage us that we can trust Him! Let's pray and yearn for God's word like the psalmist did! This was such a good word from @_official.rejoice.in.truth ! Go follow her for more awesome content like this!


Day 11- Psalm 119:81-88


You're halfway through the challenge!! Keep going and remember to really express yourself to God, He wants to hear what you have to say! See you tomorrow!


Day 12- Psalm 119:89-96


Day 12  means there are only 10 more days! If you're dealing with stress or anxiety, this is the perfect time to read these verses as a prayer and lay your worries down at the feet of Jesus! Be sure to follow Jamie on Instagram @uncommon.teen and, ladies, listen to her podcast, Uncommon Teen!  


Day 13- Psalm 119:97-104


God's commands are for our good! When we begin to change our perspective about God's love and who He is, we can enjoy the protection and the open door creates through His direction for life. Be sure to follow  Dior on Instagram @iamdior0 and go stream his music on Spotify, Apple, and YouTube. 


Day 14-Psalm 119:105-112


Have you ever felt like you didn't know where you were going? God's word is a light that guides us! This is why we are having you read the Bible every day. The more you are in God's word, the more the Holy Spirit can guide you. @gabriellemontgomery_ talks more about this. Watch the video and give her a follow! 


Day 15: Psalm 119:113-120


When you choose to follow God, this isn't just a choice to have a genie make your life better, it's a choice to follow God's way. We are saying that we will submit everything we do and everything we are to him. Center your life around Jesus today! Check out @themichaelbranda on Instagram for funny Christ-centered content! 


Day 16: Psalm 119:121-128


What a great encouragement!! No matter what it feels like God's way is the right way. His commandments are the way to a fruitful life. We're so proud of you for sticking through, keep going!! God has more in store for you!!


Day 17: Psalm 119:129-136


Do you sometimes wonder why God has commanded us to avoid certain things? God gives us his commands to protect us, by following God you are NOT missing out on anything. Day 18: Psalm 119:137-144


As Christians, we have a relationship with the Creator of the world, so when the pressures of life come, we can still have joy because our hope is in the one who holds the world in His hands.


Day 19-Psalm 119:145-152


Whenever what we want to do and what we need to do are different, we must lay at the feet of Jesus and ask Him for help.  Sometimes it's so hard to choose well so be sure to ask the Holy Spirit to give you the strength to obey. 


Day 20: Psalm 119:153-160


We live in a crazy world and some people will follow God and some won't. But, do you obey God because you have to or because you want to please Him? If we want to follow the world's way of doing things, it will seem like a chore. But, if our aim is to make God happy, like David, His commandments will be a delight. 


Day 21: Psalm 119:161-168


God's laws are an expression of His love for us. When we follow His laws it leads us to a fruitful life. Stay strong and keep going with the challenge, you've got this!!


Day 22: Psalm 119:169-176


We are so proud of you for finishing the challenge!! Don't ever be afraid to seek God, he always wants to help us! As you finish the challenge we want this to be the beginning of a new season in your relationship with God, don't let this be the end! Keep seeking God and His voice on a regular basis!!
