James 1:6-8

If you try and live for God and the world, you will be unstable in everything you do.

Do you give more weight to what God thinks of you or what people think of you?

Where do you think you will end up by letting people's opinions run your life?

What do you think will happen if it's God's opinion?

Ask God to help you begin to make His voice the loudest in your life.

Day 2

Proverbs 2:1-5
2 Cor. 5:7

Do you often find yourself shaken by the questions of life?

Do the opinions of people shape your beliefes or does God and His Word?

God is not intimidated by your questions.
Take time today and start asking God questions. But let the questions draw you to Him not away from Him.

"Circumstances and opinions won't shake us when we're rooted in God."

Day 3

Proverbs 23:7

What are lies that you are believing about yourself that God isn't saying about you?

Take some time and make a list of these lies. Then do a search or ask your pastor about what the Bible says about it.

Ask God to help you accept the truth of His word over the lies you've believed.

Day 4

John 15:5

Trying to be successful can cause us to work without rest. Getting the best GPA, getting in the best college, making varsity, all these things can cause us to work too hard.

We have enough time to do what God has called us to do.

Take a look at your life and ask God what He wants you to do with your teen years.

Is what you're investing your time and energy in what God wants you to invest in?

What needs to change so that you can rest and only pursue God's will for your life?

Day 5

1 Corinthians 15:58

Do you ever lose your motivation for reaching your goals, or following Jesus?

What are ways you can purposefully add wood to the fire of your passion?

We will often lose that fire, but God wants to keep the fire ignited within us. Ask Him to help you, stay motivated, and show you the habits you need to implement in your life.

Great job finishing this devotional! We hope it helps you take your teen years to the next level. You have a purpose. Find God and find your purpose.
